FBC Mission
To bring glory to God by boldly sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, nurturing personal relationships with Him, and studying and applying God’s inerrant Word through the power of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19-20)
FBC Core Values
• Authority of Scripture... We recognize the Bible as the inspired, inerrant Word of God, the source of spiritual and moral authority leading to wisdom, sufficient for equipping and training God’s people. (2 Timothy 3:14-17)

• Prayer... We acknowledge the primacy and priority of prayer both individually and corporately, constantly seeking God’s will and the leading of the Holy Spirit in everything. (Philippians 4:6)

• Evangelism... We resolve to pursue opportunities locally and globally to present the gospel and the transforming hope of Jesus Christ to those not yet in relationship with Him. (Acts 1:8)

• Authentic Worship... We will individually and corporately celebrate our love for God, our trust in His greatness and sovereignty, our unity and salvation in Jesus Christ, and our dependence upon the Holy Spirit. (Psalm 66:4)

FBC Distinctives
• Teaching... We will purposefully teach the hope-giving, life-changing Truths of God’s Word, equipping Christ-followers to know, experience and serve Him. (Colossians 3:16)

• Small Groups... We are devoted to small groups in dynamic community, recognizing that they are a vital medium for life transformation, fellowship, accountability, and spiritual growth. (Acts 2:46)

• Families... We believe that the family is the core relational unit within society and will purposefully promote and encourage biblical values of the family within the diverse community of our church. (Titus 2:1-8)

• Leadership Development... We will foster a culture and environment characterized by mentoring and discipling relationships that empower and release leaders to significant ministry, family and community roles. (2 Timothy 2:2)

• Multiplication... We will encourage the development and replication of creative ministries that impact the world for Christ by making best use of the gifts and abilities within the FBC Body, and partnering with resources in the broader Christian community. (2 Corinthians 9:10)

• Team Approach... We will embrace the power of teams – elders, staff, and volunteers serving together in the work of the Church to realize Kingdom impact. (Philippians 2:2)

• Excellence & Intentionality... We commit that all ministry endeavors will be characterized by good planning, skillful execution, and a healthy sense of urgency and accountability to those we serve. (1Thessilonians 4:1)

• Celebration & Achievement... We will celebrate how God has worked through his people by recognizing the contributions and accomplishments of volunteers, ministry teams, staff, elders, and the Body at large engaged in Kingdom work. (Hebrews 10:24)
