September 10th :  'North Star... Our Distinctives'  Dr Crawford Loritts

1. Teaching...

We will purposely teach the hope-giving, life-changing truths of God's Word, equipping Christ's followers to know, experience and serve Him (Col. 3:16)

2. Small Groups

We are devoted to small groups in dynamic community, recognizing that they are a vital medium for life transformation, fellowship, accountability, and spiritual growth (Acts 2:46)

3. Families

We believe that the family is the core relational unit within society and we will purposely promote and encourage biblical values of the family across our diverse church body... (Psalm 78:5-7; 127)

4. Leadership Development...

We will foster a culture and environment characterized by mentoring and discipling relationships that empower and release leaders to significant ministry, family and community roles (2Tim. 2:2-4)

5. Multiplication...

We will encourage the development and replication of creative ministry opportunities that influence and impact the world for Christ by leveraging the gifts, talents and abilities of our body and partnering with other resources in the Christian community (Matt. 28-18-20; Rev. 7:9-12)

6. Team Approach...

We will embrace the power of teams - Elders, staff and volunteers serving together in the work of the church to realize Kingdom Impact (Neh. 4:6; 6:15-16)

7. Excellence and Intentionality...

We commit that all ministry endeavors will be characterized by good planning, skillful execution, and a healthy sense of urgency and accountability to those we serve ( Matt. 25 :23; 1Cor. 15:58; Prov. 22:29)

8. Celebration and Achievement...

We will celebrate how God has worked through His people by recog- nizing the contributions and accomplishments of volunteers, ministry teams, staff, elders, and the body at large in Kingdom work (Josh. 4:1-7; 1Peter 2:17)

Here's What We Need To Remember: Not only is it "OK" to be who we are, but lets celebrate it and leverage all that God has given to us to make our unique contribution to His Cause!
