Baby ⁄ Child Dedication & Celebration
Psalm 127:3-5
3. Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. 4. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. 5. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them! They will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.
Children are a gift of the Lord! And we look forward to celebrating with you as you commit your child to God and yourself as a parent seeking to raise your child in a godly home. We've developed a two-step process to make this occasion of your child's dedication a treasured family moment.
Step 1 is a required one-hour parenting class held on a Sunday morning. Through quality instruction and examples from personal experience, the class is designed to help you better understand and apply ways to raise your child in a godly home. A small homework assignment will be given to you…in fact, it's your ticket to move on to step 2!
Step 2 is a time where we meet with you and your closest family and friends on a Sunday afternoon in a time of DEDICATION and CELEBRATION. In an atmosphere of celebration, this time is designed to create an unforgettable memory of the promise you've made to lead your child in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. This will include a time of fellowship, prayer and a photographer will be on hand to capture the celebration.
Our next Baby/Child Dedication Celebration will be on April 29 at 4pm in the Auditorium. The registration deadline is April 12.
The REQUIRED parenting class will be held on April 15 at 9:15am in Room 103.
