Community Groups
Growing in Christ, together.

Community Groups at Fellowship are not just another program or activity to take up our time. Rather, they serve three clear and critical purposes:

» Connect
Relationships are essential for spiritual maturity; in fact, they are necessary if we are to practice the 'one another's' found in Scripture. At Fellowship, we believe that Community Groups provide a great environment for people to connect in authentic relationships.

» Serve
God has wired us and called us to serve both inside and outside the church. Community Groups provide a great platform for doing this. Inside the group we use our spiritual gifts to serve one another, while together we invest our time to serve our world through local community service opportunities.

» Grow
Life change is always our goal in biblical community; if we do not experience spiritual growth, we are not truly experiencing Christ's life within us and within our group. We believe growth happens when we allow the truth of God's Word to intersect with real life in the context of authentic relationships. Community Groups provide the environment for such transformation to take place.

How do I get involved in a Community Group?

• Explore your Existing Relationships
  As you interact with people at Fellowship you already have some relationship with, mention your interest in community groups to them. Starting a group with people you already you know well is a huge step forward.
• Connect Event
  A two-hour experience designed to help you link up with people in your area of town to form a community group. Unless you particularly enjoy Atlanta traffic, we've found that groups that form close to one another tend to forge strong bonds with one another.
• Mid-Size Environments
  Another way to find a Community Group is to attend one of our mid-size groups on Sunday morning. These larger communities provide an environment to meet people at Fellowship and to begin friendships. Many small groups begin through relationships established here.
