This week we'll dive into the art of the heart - His and yours. Through art, music, journaling, scripture, prayer, and time you'll learn different ways to worship. This elective is for the child who yearns for more in their relationship with God
Dancing Praise - Megan Lubben
Music, motion, rhythm--let's put it all together and praise the Lord! We will dance to Christian music, combining basic ballet and hand motions with the joy of rhythmic expression.
Drumbeat - Amber Stephens
Do you find yourself drumming on countertops, the car dash, and anything else that makes a cool sound? Well, do we have the class for you! Come and learn the art of drumming on tubanos, djembes, and other rhythm instruments while we praise our Lord with rhythmic sounds.
Food with Friends - Sonya McRay
Did you ever go for an ice cream cone by yourself? Sharing with friends makes any event more special and helps make the friendships stronger. Join us as we make treats that can turn any day into a day to celebrate. Movie nights, tea parties, baptisms, graduations--there are so many reasons to bring family and friends together around the table.
It's a Date! (with Rubber Stamping!) - Deb Cozzone
Join us in making a calendar that will track birthdays and other special dates for years to come! We will use a wide variety of stamping products and techniques to make this one amazing work of art. Learn to use sponging, pastels, watercoloring, and much more. And, as time allows, we will have other projects, too, like making cards, party favors and refrigerator magnets. So, mark it on YOUR calendar-It's a Date!
Pool Party - Cindy Radler and Chris Nocera (Lifeguard)
Grab your bathing suit and come for a "wet 'n wild" day in the sun. We will have planned games and supervised free time. Certified lifeguard on duty at all times.
Raingutter Races - Margie Olsen
Join us as we build, decorate and race our very own miniature sailboats. We'll make pirate hats to wear on Thursday when we do elimination races in--what else?--a rain gutter! Come prepared to get wet. And to have FUN!
Retro Recess - Diana Moll
Hey Ho, Let's Go! Before XBox 360, PlayStation and Wii, there was... hmmm, what WAS there? Retro is in, so let's play capture the flag, jailbreak, cat's corner, crack-up, spud and more. Wear a swimsuit the last day and prepare to get soaked!

How will you survive in the wild? Come join us as we blaze a trail through the woods while working with a compass, making tables with ropes and sticks, and learning to build different types of fire starters. (This elective requires long pants and sturdy shoes for hiking!)
Ultimate Concoctions PLUS - Pam Nocera
Cool! Wacky! Concoctions you learn to make. PLUS, add some goofy games and wild science and you have the right combination for gooey, slimy, slippery and tasty fun!
WYOB (Wildlife in Your Own Backyard) - Gina Van Amburgh
You can create fun and artsy objects that transform your backyard with a little imagination and some basic materials. Learn how to attract butterflies, chipmunks, squirrels, birds and other wildlife.

CSI (Celebrate Summer Investigations) - Cathy Stavres
Basic training to be a detective. Shhh... can't talk too much here--someone may be listening. Expect training in "dead drops", fingerprinting, disguises, codes and more. We'll play games to develop our craft and follow clues to find a secret. We'll tell you where to find us when the time is right.
Crop 'til You Drop - Julie Potts
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then come "write a book" as we scrapbook together. Bring a handful of pictures of a vacation, week at camp, special event or party you'd like to tell a story with and we'll make a small book. Feel free to bring your own supplies, but don't worry, I'll have plenty of stuff too. Share your ideas and learn some new techniques as we "crop 'til we drop"!

Do you like to perform in front of people and "ham it up"? Well, this one is for you. We'll be acting out skits and learning to improvise (making things up as you go). We even get to perform in front of everyone on the last day of camp.

Soapbox Derby - Dave Zandstra and John Tripp (6th grade only)
Ever dream of building a car and racing it? Now is your chance. You'll be given plans, wood, hammers, nails, and paint (plus a lot of help) to build your very own soap box derby racer. Friday is race day, when the entire camp cheers you on. And you get to take your car home with you. This elective requires an additional fee for the car wheels, which we provide.
