We are so excited to tell you about our classroom mission focus for this year. Leasa Jones recently shared with some of your children about a ministry called Wiphan (WI=widow + PHAN=orphans), a care ministry in Zambia, Africa that feeds and educates widows and orphans. Wiphan's mission is to equip widows and orphans for a productive future life, offering hope to the hopeless through the love of Jesus Christ as inspired by the instruction God gives us in James 1:27. FBC's Children's Ministry would be thrilled if your family joined us in blessing the widows and orphans of Wiphan. Every dime feeds an orphan a meal, every dollar feeds and educates them for a day. Giving your child these tangible examples of what their giving can do will help excite them about making a difference in the life of another. Teaching our children that they can make a difference…that is a powerful thing!
