Dwayne McKean ι Facilities Director

'Creating A Positive Facility Environment' is important to our Director of Facilities, Dwayne McKean. He oversees the Facility Impression Team or FIT Staff. Their goal is to leave a positive impression in the minds of all attendees of Fellowship each time they visit our facilities.

Dwayne joined our staff in January, 1999, coming to us from the great state of Texas. He brings a unique perspective to facility management, seeing it as a ministry. That perspective shows in the work he and his staff do to maintain our grounds and facilities.

Although from Texas, Dwayne loves North Georgia and the surrounding states. His hobbies include golf, quoting movie lines, and listening to just about any type of music. His Favorite time of year is without question, Christmas. It is not unusual for his home to be decorated the first week of November.

Dwayne is married to a native Texan, Leslee, who teaches elementary music in Cherokee County. They have two girls, one in high school and one in middle school. They live in the old Hickory Flat area of Cherokee County.

Terry Kelly ι Scheduling Coordinator - Facility Impression Team Supervisor

Terry joined Fellowship in 1998 as an evening custodian. He was promoted in 1999 to FIT Staff Supervisor and at the beginning of 2005 he also assumed the duties of Scheduling Coordinator managing not only the FIT Staff but also all of our buildings and facilities for all events and functions.

Terry is a native Georgian, married to wife Becky, with 2 grown boys and 5 grandchildren. Terry and Becky live in nearby Acworth and spend a good bit of time spoiling their grandchildren. Although his boys are grown, with families of their own, Terry still has the regular opportunity of getting together with them for a round of golf.

Besides golf, Terry enjoys bowling, working out at the gym, watching movies, and playing the piano. At the age of 10 he had his first piano lesson and has been playing ever since. When he was 22 he played in his first church and has been playing in churches wherever the Lord has lead him.

Cindy Rawlings ι Administrative Assistant

Cindy and her family have been at FBC since 1998. Cindy is the Administrative Assistant to the Facilities Director here at FBC where she assists the FIT Team.

Cindy has been married to Mike, for 19 years, she is the mother of Michael, David and Kristina. Her other passions include student ministries and drama. Cindy and her family enjoy the great outdoors, from sports to a great cookout.

David Garcia ι Facility Impression Team

David sees his role as one of ensuring that FBC is a clean environment in which to learn and to worship. He enjoys working in a place where everyone greets you with a smile and is willing to lend an extra hand if needed. After working part-time at Fellowship High School for two years, he was able to stay with the FBC community in a full-time capacity at the church.

David enjoys spending time with his wife Brianna and their young son Preston. He also enjoys discovering new music and playing video games.

Fernando Garcia ι Maintenance Technician

With over 20 years of experience in the facilities and maintenance field plus a civil engineering degree, Fernando has what it takes to keep our building up and running. What makes the job interesting, he says, is that there is something different every day - and he enjoys the people and the atmosphere.

Debi Turner ι HR/Administration Director

Debi Turner has worked to develop and grow the areas of human resources and administration over the past ten years while on staff at Fellowship. Her career focus is on assisting church ministries, the church staff and the church body overall with general HR issues and other situations related to risk management and policy administration.

Debi attended The Ohio State University and holds a certificate in Risk Management from Cambridge University.

For the past 34 years Debi has been married to Phil Turner, a marketing consultant, and has three grown children and one grandson. Cameron works with Devereaux, a non-profit organization for children. Courtney is married to Ryan and they blessed Debi and Phil with their first grandson, Holden. Clark is married to Esther and he is the Sales Manager for ProServe Home Solutions.

Suzanne Sweatt ι Receptionist/Secretary

Suzanne has been a member of the Fellowship staff family for 10 years, happily serving the Lord as Receptionist/Secretary. This, in itself, is a type of ministry because of the wide variety of calls, either by phone or in person, some of them needing just a word of encouragement or prayer. She enjoys other responsibilities in the church office, including assisting other staff members to complete projects for their ministries.

Suzanne has been widowed for 10 years, having been married to her wonderful husband for 42 years. She has one son, who lives in Panama City, FL and two cats, Miss Violet and Chloe, who are great company. She has no formal education except from the many years of life, and God's grace, which have taught her what she knows today. Some of her time off is spent as Administrator of her Bible Study, with membership of about 150 ladies, at a neighboring church.

Babs Williams ι Receptionist / Global Missions AA

Babs Williams joined the Fellowship staff in 2005 and is serving in two capacities. She works part time as the front office receptionist and is responsible for answering the phone, greeting visitors and assisting the staff. She also is the Assistant to the Director of Global Missions. Her responsibilities include assisting with preparations for Global Team meetings, and helping with organization of mission trips. Babs' passion also includes working with children and she has served as a teacher in learning center many times.

She graduated from Queens College in Charlotte, NC with a double major in elementary education and psychology. Prior to coming to work at FBC, she taught first grade at a local Christian school for four years.

Babs and Wayne have been a part of the FBC body since 1998 and have been married for 31 years. Wayne is a pilot with Delta Airlines and they have 4 children, two of whom are married. In her free time, she enjoys travelling and attending Auburn football games.
