Shane Freeman Adult Ministries Pastor
Shane serves as the pastor for Adult Ministries, providing the '30,000 foot' vision and direction for the adult ministry. He enjoys dreaming about what could be for Fellowship's mission to mature people in Christ, believing that ministry is always more effective when a group of people bring their various gifts to the table and work as a team in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Most recently, he served as the Directional Leader / Teaching Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Searcy, AR and has served in churches as a Youth Pastor, College Pastor, as well as teaching Bible and Theology at Rincon Valley Christian School in Santa Rosa, CA for a couple of years. Shane enjoys time with his 'girls', wife Amber and two very young daughters, as well as reading, and watching and playing various sports.
Matt Farlow Spiritual Life Pastor, Welcoming & Connecting
Matt serves Fellowship as Spiritual Life Pastor, Welcoming & Connecting, seeking to provide adults in all stages of life a range of venues for spiritual growth. Fellowship's "North Star" vision (to present everyone mature in Christ) is for all people, men and women, married and single, young and old. As a result Matt oversees the Welcoming and Connecting ministry to ensure they are working toward that vision.
Prior to coming to Fellowship, Matt served as a lead pastor at Crossroads Church in Ruston, Louisiana (a church plant of Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, Arkansas). He also served as the Pastor of Church Life at Denton Bible Church in Denton, Texas. His educational background includes a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas, a MBA from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas and a BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas (whoop!) With an undergraduate degree from Auburn University in speech communication, a Masters in Business Administration, and a work background in marketing. Suzanne is well-qualified to assist in "marketing" and coordinating Adult Ministries.
After teaching for six years, Suzanne has made a career change, and she loves the friendliness of the FBC family. Suzanne's three children keep her busy, but when she has a free moment, she enjoys reading and traveling.
Lisa Montgomery Spiritual Life Assistant

Lisa's responsibilities in this capacity include assisting with First Look for those who are new to Fellowship, Connect events for those looking to join others in authentic relationships, and Community Groups.
Lisa and her husband, Pete, have a blended family which includes a daughter and two sons, as well as two granddaughters.
Sonya McRay Welcoming & Connecting Coordinator
As Coordinator of this vital ministry, Sonya's goal is to provide a culture of caring and connectedness that makes everyone who encounters us experience a sense of belonging. She is responsible for the Next Steps classes that provide people with a more detailed look at who Fellowship is and what we are about. The class is designed to help give an in depth view of Fellowship's core values, ministries, and opportunities to serve as well as a way to connect with others and become a member of the church.
Believing that service can be a pathway to connectedness, Sonya has been active in Children's Ministry with preschoolers up to elementary-age children, as a small group co-leader with the Women's Ministry and as an actress with the Drama group. The McRays have been attending Fellowship since moving to Roswell in 1997. Introduced to the church through the playground, they stayed for the relevant Bible teaching and the authentic worship. Sonya and her college sweetheart, Nelson, enjoy beach time with their children Nia and Nevin.
John Purser Sunday Communities - Foundations
John and his wife Susan have been attending FBC since 1988. John is a captain for Delta Airlines where he's been working since 1986. In her personal life Sheree has been happily married for twenty-five years and has three sons. She is nearly a native of Atlanta and has lived in the Alpharetta-Roswell area for the last eighteen years.
Andrea Johanson Women's Ministry Childcare Coordinator
Andrea serves as Fellowship's Women's Ministry Childcare Director, overseeing the Tuesday/Thursday childcare program. She loves working with such a wonderful group of teachers and getting tons of hugs from the children in the program. While moms attend the women's ministry meetings, they can be at peace knowing that their children are safe and secure, being cared for by a group of teachers who love the Lord and love each of the children in the program.
Andrea moved to Georgia from Connecticut two years ago. Previously, she served in multiple ministries including Children's, Youth, Women's, Praise and Worship, and Fine Arts Ministries, and was a part of the church leadership team for 15 years. Her passion is teaching children and ministering to families.
Andrea is devoted to her husband, Brian, of 18 years, and their family of four children: Luke, Abbie, Noah, and Nehemiah. She views her greatest responsibility in life as preparing each of their children to fulfill the call of God on their lives.
Kevin Cross Stewardship Director
did not get to the position as Stewardship Director by mistake. For years, he tireless rose through the ranks of the vocational college and retirement community lecture circuit. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Master's Degree in Boredom Studies from Hoboken Community Tech (actually I made that up). Kevin has 2.2 kids and a dog, likes vanilla ice cream, long walks on the beach and Barry Manilow. He has bored thousands within inches of their lives and you're next.
As the Stewardship Director, Kevin's goal is to inspire a lifestyle of radical generosity in everyone he meets through God's word and
(hopefully) his own example.
He is the author of two books, "Building Your Financial Fortress in 52 Days" and "Embezzlement", and his ministry, Account417, has recently been featured on CNN, NPR, The Miami Herald and the New York Times.
In 1988, following an arrest, expulsion from law school, and over $100 thousand dollars in debt, Kevin was employed as a hotel valet when God touched his life in a profound way. Wearing women's garden shoes (because they were cheaper) and parking the gleaming Jaguar of Channel 10 Miami News Anchor Dwight Lauderdale, he turned the radio dial and happened upon a show hosted by Larry Burkett. Burkett's words that night changed his spending habits, but they also changed his heart.
In 1989, Kevin founded a tax and accounting practice, which grew into one of the largest and most respected Christian tax representation practices in South Florida. He ran the firm for 17 years, earning his EA, CPA and a Masters of Science in Taxation. During this time, he garnered several professional awards and became the chair of the FICPA Federal Tax Committee.
His most satisfying accomplishments, though, came on Thursdays when he would close the office and offer free budget and financial counseling to everyone in the community. God also led him to become a Crown Seminar Instructor and Counselor where he conducted events speaking, teaching, coaching, and certifying thousands of people from every end of the financial spectrum. The life-change he witnessed served as inspiration for him to sell the practice and start Cross Stewardship Ministries, a non-profit dedicated to communicating the life-changing message of the pleasures of doing money God's way - full-time.
His fervent goal is to see 100,000 people per year embracing the life that is truly life and one person per day accepting Christ as their Savior. It's a big goal, but that's why we have a big God.
