Corinne Simpson Children's Ministries Director

She whizzes through the hall with the greatest of joy-she's in charge of children's ministry and loves the girls and boys.

Her heart is for Jesus, to share the good news-through puppets, playdough, music, and glue!

The room might be messy, the noise might be loud, but hearts changed for Jesus is worth it no doubt!

She's been here for years-20 to be sure-it's the people that keep her heart in a whir!

Her family brings her lots of delight, and if you ask to see photos of the grandkids-you just might!

She loves hiking, the lake, reading books too, dates with her husband, and she'd love to talk to you!

Rhonda Anderson Learning Center Director

As the Learning Center Director, Rhonda enjoys being part of a godly group of men and women working together to create an environment for families and their children, one that is conducive to learning about and experiencing the love of Christ.

During her twenty some years at FBC, Rhonda has served in every area of Learning Center. She was employed as an administrator at a local private school for ten years where she was able to use her skills in communication, leadership and management. Over the past ten years, she has discovered a love for working with teenagers in the FBC youth ministry. With a compassion and love for homeless women, she serves at a local homeless shelter as often as possible. If there is any spare time left, she enjoys photography and reading.

When she first began attending FBC at age nineteen, she was dating a young man whose family attended FBC. The sound Biblical teaching drew her in and continues to captivate her today. She married that young man and they are still here raising their children at FBC. She and her husband Gil live in Woodstock and have three children, Rachael, a college student, Jonathan, also a college student, and Libby, a high school student.

Debbie Kellar KidzZone AA and Classroom Coordinator

Having been at FBC for over 18 years, Debbie has been involved in many aspects of children's ministry: teaching, childcare coordinator, administrative assistant and Celebrate Summer. Most comfortable working behind the scenes, she currently provides administrative support to the KidzZone Coordinator and coordinates classrooms and teachers. She and husband Bruce have been Learning Center teachers most of their time at FBC while their three children were growing up.

Not only does Debbie enjoy teaching children, she has taught Precepts Bible Studies for over ten years. She homeschools her daughter, and somehow finds time to teach quilting, have a quilting business, and enjoy knitting.

Sherilyn Leath Children's Ministry Associate

Sherilyn directs the PraiseKids and Celebrate Summer programs for Children's Ministry and supervises the operations area of the ministry. PraiseKids provides an opportunity for 1st and 2nd graders to celebrate God in a kid-friendly worship environment. Celebrate Summer is Fellowship's version of Vacation Bible School. We invite the surrounding community to a week long summer day camp for boys and girls in 1st through 6th grades. The purpose of Celebrate Summer is to share the gospel in a kid-friendly venue where life lessons are both taught and caught.

Sherilyn believes that there is no higher calling, no greater privilege, no more important ministry than taking the transforming hope found in Jesus Christ to the next generation. Sherilyn is married to Bill and they have 2 married children and five grandchildren. Sherilyn is in her 15th year on staff in Fellowship's Children's Ministry and more excited about ministry potential than ever! She attended Thomas Nelson Community College and is currently a student at Dallas Theological Seminary, Atlanta Extension.

Debi Turner Nursery Coordinator

Debi Turner has served as the Nursery Coordinator at Fellowship for the past twelve years. She provides oversight to the Nursery area of the Learning Center and works with the teachers as they help parents lead their children toward an understanding of the love of Jesus. Her strong passion for families is demonstrated through ministering to new mothers and moms-to-be at New Mother's Teas held biannually.

For the past 34 years Debi has been married to Phil Turner, a marketing consultant, and has three grown children and one grandson. Cameron works with Devereaux, a non-profit organization for children. Courtney is married to Ryan and they blessed Debi and Phil with their first grandson, Holden. Clark is married to Esther and he is the Sales Manager for ProServe Home Solutions.

Leasa Jones Early Childhood Coordinator

As Early Childhood Coordinator Leasa helps to train, encourage and assist the lead teachers in the elementary grades of learning center. She finds it a blessing to serve alongside so many amazing people that God has uniquely gifted for Children's Ministry. She has a passion for children and their families, and enjoys encouraging her lead teachers as they create a loving, nurturing environment where Christ's love is shown to each child. She enjoys being able to help train and support volunteers by sharing creative ideas on teaching God's word to the children at FBC.

Leasa has served in Children's ministry for the past 17 years as both an assistant and lead teacher. She is married to Kevin and they have four children from ages four to sixteen. She and her husband Kevin serve on the board of directors for Wiphan Care Ministries, an outreach to widows and orphans in Zambia, Africa.

Catherine Ibarra Elementary Coordinator

As an elementary learning center coordinator, Catherine's job is centered on making sure that the elementary classes flow smoothly during second hour. She ensures that classes are adequately staffed and that teachers have everything they need so their time spent with the children is wonderful and effective.

Catherine has a BA in psychology and a BS in elementary education. She has been a classroom assistant at The King's Academy for four years and a Language Arts teacher for two years. Utilizing these skills have helped her effectively and compassionately fulfill her responsibilities here at FBC.

She and her husband, Jose', just celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary. They have three wonderful children. Doug, a sophomore in high school, Allie a seventh grader, and Nick, a first grader, all attend The King's Academy. Personally, she enjoys having fun with family and friends, reading, swimming, playing games, and going for walks.

Cathy Stavres PVA (Positive Visual Assurance) Coordinator

Cathy Stavres is ready to welcome you and your children to Children's Ministry safe and secure environment. Cathy is in charge of Positive Visual Assurance (PVA), a photo ID system, which ensures that only authorized individuals can pick up a child from their Learning Center class on Sunday mornings (Nursery through Kindergarten).

When you come to apply for your PVA cards you'll meet Cathy and her husband, Andy, who just happens to be her photographer. If you stay long enough, you'll also get to meet their teenagers, Drew and Nicki. Cathy's goal is to provide the best security possible for our kids, so make sure to look her up to complete your application for your PVA cards!

Hilary McCracken Children's Ministry Recruitment Assistant

Hilary and her husband Jeff have two beautiful boys and have attended Fellowship for approximately five years. Hilary comes to us with a wealth of experience and true heart to serve the families of FBC. She is a graduate of Wheaton College and will serve as the staffing assistant for Children's Ministry.

Lori Womack KidzZone Director

Lori has regularly attended Fellowship since 1995. She found her niche serving the elementary aged kids in what was once called "Children's Worship." From that experience God lead her to begin the Praise Team in 1999. Through the Praise Team she works with teens and pre-teens at Fellowship who share her passion for leading kids in an authentic time of worship. This ministry has grown to consist of 30+ people who lead worship in both PraiseKids (for first and second graders) and KidzZone (for third through fifth graders). After serving on the leadership team in KidzZone for the past four years, God has now called Lori to become the new coordinator of the program. Lori considers it a privilege to direct and equip this group of teens and adults who are passionate about leading Fellowship's upper elementary students in knowing, worshiping, and enjoying the Lord.

Candi Jenkins Early Childhood Coordinator

As an Early Childhood Coordinator, Candi's role is to assist, encourage, build and train our team of volunteers for ages 2 thru 5. She has been involved in children's ministry and education for 18 years.

Candi and her husband Brad have been married for 20 years. They have four children who attend Fellowship Christian School. Candi feels honored to be part of the FBC Learning Center team.

Claire Gold Children's Ministry Summer Administrative Assistant

Claire Gold has been attending FBC for over twelve years, and has enjoyed being a part of all aspects of the Children's Ministry. This is her first summer on staff with Fellowship, and she is very excited that God has called her to be a part of the Children's Ministry in a new way. She is currently a student at Kennesaw State, studying Communications.
