Tim Beard Worship & Arts Pastor
As the Worship and Arts Pastor, Tim oversees planning and production of all Sunday morning worship services. After receiving a degree in music composition from the University of North Texas, he began a Masters in Computer Science and worked in software development for 14 years before joining the staff at Fellowship in 1998. Tim's wife Cindy is the principal violist for the DeKalb Symphony and teaches private violin and viola lessons. Tim and Cindy have two children, both in college.
Tim's primary goal as the Worship and Arts Pastor is to create environments where people can connect with God. He accomplishes this goal by pastoring a volunteer team of gifted artists who offer their God-given abilities to help people come to know and experience their Savior.
Dennis Law Technical Director
Dennis and his tech team are responsible for sound, lights and video graphics presentations during each worship service; and their goal is for each person to be drawn deeper into worship. With his attention to detail, he is fascinated by instruments and their particular sounds and the role they play in a piece-an asset in his role as Technical Director. He continues to study and to train others in sound technology and has attended training conferences at various churches, Audio Engineering Society in New York, and Synergetic Audio Concepts.
Since his early teens in Philadelphia, Dennis has been "drumming" professionally, touring across the U.S. and Canada. He served his local church for six years, eventually becoming sound director. While managing a music store in Philadelphia, he developed a passion for helping start-up churches improve their sound systems. He set up and engineered sound systems for Philadelphia bands and continued assisting bands after his move to the Atlanta area several years ago.
Dennis and his wife Verna have been married for over 15 years and have two teenage daughters. The whole family is involved in music, and they often spend their free time singing or playing music together at home.
Cindi Costoulas Drama & Video Team Leader
As Team Leader, Cindi participates on the worship planning team, leads adult drama, produces videos, and helps with set design. She enjoys working with creative, passionate and godly men and women, loving the creative process almost as much as the final product. She thrives on using drama and video to tell stories that impact people's lives.
Drama has been part of Cindi's life since she was "The Little Angel" at age 6 in Bethlehem, Georgia. She studied voice at UGA and, after raising five children, recently graduated with a degree in Television Production. The great teaching and music brought Cindi and husband John to FBC in 1995. What impressed her was the involvement of men in all areas of ministry from nursery to adult ministries.
Now that John and Cindi have an empty nest, they have time to "play in the dirt", read, go to movies, visit their adult children and grandchildren... and play in the dirt some more.
Carly Norwood Video Production Assistant
Carly grew up on the border of Marietta and Roswell, graduating from Pope High School. It was in pursuing her passion for music that she discovered her passion for video production as well. She went to Georgia State University graduating with a degree in Journalism Broadcasting and Music Business Management and has been fervently pursuing her passion for both while discovering God's plan for her step by step. This led her here, to support Fellowship Bible Church's needs in video production. When she has free time, she loves to travel and experience new cultures and has future hopes to plant and support orphanages in destitute communities.
Paul Friederichsen Fellowship to Go
