Bob Roland - Pastor of Family Ministries
Bob is the Family Ministries Pastor on our staff. He has a Bachelors degree from Northeastern Bible College, a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, and completed course study toward a doctorate at Reformed Theological Seminary. He has many years of pastoral counseling experience.
Bob serves on the Elder Board and provides oversight for several significant ministry areas within the church including the Children's Ministry, Student Ministries, and serves on the FCS Board of Education.
In addition to personal counseling, Bob teaches courses on sexuality and parenting, and is a speaker at marriage seminars, retreats, and Adult Elective classes offered on Sunday mornings. He and his wife Jeanne, have been married for thirty-four years, and have three adult children.
Dee Goar - Director of Counseling and Support Ministries
Dee is a licensed, professional counselor with a Masters Degree in counseling, and joined the staff of FBC in 1995 with a long list of credentials.
Before moving to Atlanta, she was the Director of Bergamo Counseling Center in Dayton, Ohio and prior to that served as the Director of the Women's Crisis Center and on the clinical faculty of Weber State College in Ogden, Utah. She was a therapist with Alpha Care Christian Therapy Service here in Atlanta from 1989 to 1997.
Dee is a conference speaker, does occasional programs for Christian radio, and, with Bob, teaches Adult Electives here at FBC. She and her husband, Larry, have three adult children.
Larry Goar - Pastor of Care Ministries
Larry received his BA degree in Accounting from Florida State University and his MBA degree in Industrial Management from Ohio State University. He joined the Fellowship staff in 1991 as the Church Business Administrator. After ten years in that position, he spent two years writing church policies and facilitating leadership development. He was on the Guiding Elder Board at Fellowship for eight years and is now a Shepherding Elder.
In 2003, Larry was ordained to begin a Care Ministry. He now leads the Stephen Ministry, Pastor on Call, Benevolence, and a Prayer and Care Team. Prior to joining the staff at Fellowship, Larry was a Colonel in the United States Air Force where he was responsible for administering civilian contracts for the Department of Defense.
He lives in Marietta with his wife Dee and has three adult children. His passion is to encourage the church to not only spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, but to love and care for one another so that no one at Fellowship Bible Church ever hurts alone
